I’ve photographed a number of weddings at Hampton Castle over the years and it’s a venue I always enjoy returning to. As a photographer, you’re essentially looking for two things - good light and a day that has enough room to breathe - and this Herefordshire estate consistently delivers on both.
The morning usually starts in the spacious, well-lit getting-ready rooms, which makes the start of a wedding day feel calm rather than chaotic. For couples looking for variety in their Hampton Castle wedding photos, the grounds are unmatched. Whether it’s the symmetry of the Dutch Garden, the 200-year-old Wisteria Arch, or the maze, there’s no shortage of iconic spots.
